Recipe Ingredients:
- 4 pita pockets
- 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup of diced green peppers/capsicums and onions or other vegetables of choice
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2-3 tbsp Parmesan (optional)
Recipe Instructions:
- Set your oven or toaster oven around 350F.
- Spread 1/4 of butter or oil and pizza sauce onto the pita pockets.
- Top the pocket with green peppers, onions, preferred vegetables, cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan (optional). Spread on the pita.
- Place in oven and back for 15-20 minutes until cheese has melted and the pita is crispy.
- Slice, and serve.
