Veggie Pizza

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 pita pockets
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup of diced green peppers/capsicums and onions or other vegetables of choice
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2-3 tbsp Parmesan (optional)

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Set your oven or toaster oven around 350F.
  2. Spread 1/4 of butter or oil and pizza sauce onto the pita pockets.
  3. Top the pocket with green peppers, onions, preferred vegetables, cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan (optional). Spread on the pita.
  4. Place in oven and back for 15-20 minutes until cheese has melted and the pita is crispy.
  5. Slice, and serve.
