Ingredients:
- 15 oz of fresh okra, tops removed and sliced lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons avocado (or vegetable) oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Place sliced okra in a bowl. Combine the okra, oil, cayenne pepper, sweet paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
- On a baking sheet either topped with a wire rack or lined with parchment paper, place the okra in rows (do not overcrowd or overlap, otherwise it will not crisp). Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- To serve, sprinkle with fresh paprika
